The office is moving

The role of the ADAGE is to examine the world of business enterprise and affairs, through the interdisciplinary lens of law and management, from the joint perspective of attorneys, managers, practitioners and academics.

Last day for « States of Mind »
Until the 27th of February our offices exhibit a series of 22 portraits of famous and anonymous personalities hung side by side.
The photographer, Jean-Luc Bertini, who is also the author of our website photos, says of the exhibition : « For me a portrait is an attempt to approach a person, to maintain the right distance, to become close for an instant, like a brother. It aims to go further than the image, to seize, far beyond, the fragility and intimacy of the soul. And the trap, or the sublime, is when the model's feelings mingle with the photographer's. » -

Equal pay for equal work
The consequences of many recent French precedents arising from the case law rule equal pay for equal work were presented by Lise Cornillier to the members of the URIOPSS (Union Régionale Interfédérale des Organismes Privés Sanitaires et Sociaux) Ile de France during their « labour law news morning ». Invited by the URIOPSS, Amélie du Lau d'Allemans also reported the statement of case law subsequent to the law of August 20th 2008 concerning in particular the issues related to the appointment of union representatives and the election of personnel representatives.

Presenting the principles and protagonists of labour law
That is the subject of our Firm's second presentation for future managers of health-care facilities under the Master's program in Education and Training in Social Work (EFIS) at Paris XIII.
The specifities of labour law in comparison to other forms of law, and the distinction between individual and collective law will be examined during the presentation. The focus will be put on the mechanism and the function of the institutions of personnel representatives. -

Training for managers of health-care facilities
The legal organization and the laws applicable to such facilities are the subject of our Firm's first presentation under the Master's program in Education and Training in Social Work (EFIS) at Paris XIII.
Each session presents practical examples, examines representative contracts, discusses topics taken from real life or case law, and describes the methods applied in actual situations, so as to help students involved in professional training to acquire the legal approach to problems needed by Managers in the medico-social sector. -
